Suffolk Open Studios 2025 Art Directory
Each June, Suffolk Open Studios members invite visitors to take a look behind the scenes to discover how their amazing work is created.
Our annual SOS Art Directory (available in both printed and app form) contains details of all of our members who open their spaces on one or more of the four weekends in June for our Open Studios event. You will also find information on our Associate members who, although not opening this year, are still an important part of the Suffolk Open Studios community.
The SOS Art Directory is FREE and there is no obligation to buy anything when visiting the studios and galleries, but most of our members will have items for sale, so prepare to be tempted to take some art home with you or at the very least a greetings card or two.
SOS members are listed in alphabetical order. Each numbered listing contains an example of the artist’s work, a brief profile of their practice and directions to their studios. More comprehensive directions are available from the SOS App which can be downloaded from the Apple or Google store. There is also a handy pull-out map in the centre of the printed booklet. Studios are open from 11am to 5pm Saturdays and Sundays. Not all artists are open every weekend, so be sure to check before you set out. Our online Member Map can help you plan your visits. Also, take a look at our Updates page, as unavoidable changes often have to be made after the Directories have been printed.
You can pick up a copy of the printed directory FREE from libraries, tourist offices, galleries, arts venues, shops, cafes and pubs near you in Suffolk and often just across the border in neighbouring counties. These are distributed in early/mid April. 13,500 copies will be distributed this year.

If you cannot find a copy of the SOS Art Directory in your local area then you can order one to be posted to you by clicking HERE. The SOS Art Directory is FREE but there is a postage and packing charge of £3.50. One directory per customer.

Finally, please don’t throw away your SOS Art Directory 2025 at the end of June. Many of our members may be visited by appointment outside of the Open Studios event, and the SOS Art Directory is a fantastic guide to finding original art in Suffolk, helping you to make contact with fantastic makers across the county year-round.
