Biography/Details
Theresa graduated with a BA (Hons) Degree in Product Design from Sheffield Hallam University. It was here she discovered her passion for good design and her love for working with wood. She then undertook a Furniture Making course at the Colchester Institute where she achieved a Distinction and was nominated for a City and Guilds Gold Medal for Excellence. She has worked as a furniture and piano restorer for 10 years before launching TT Designs.
Theresa runs her woodworking studio on picturesque farmland in the Essex countryside, providing the perfect location for her to draw inspiration for her natural contemporary designs.
Specialising in bespoke hand cut marquetry and producing one off designs, Theresa takes them from the drawing board right through the hand making process.
She likes to incorporate unique marquetry designs into each piece she creates, whether it's a bespoke luxury jewellery box or a piece of commissioned furniture.
