Susan Whatling MA(ed) BA(hons) PGCE
Susan is primarily a landscape artist using the mediums of painting, etching and relief printmaking techniques to create what are often calming landscape impressions.
Susan has extensive experience in Art, design and education, studying at Leicester & Cambridge among others. Creativity has been and continues to be a constant force in Susan’s life,
“giving a voice and raising hopes for alternative possibilities. It offers me a way to share my unique, often uplifting impressions of nature to a wider audience.”
Susan has a passion for capturing fleeting moments within the landscape, with particular interest in how light and colour evoke our emotional connection to the natural landscape.
Susan is a member of Ipswich Art Society and has been a long standing member of Sudbourne Park Printmakers exhibiting at Peter Pears, Ballroom Arts, Aldeburgh Contemporary and others. Susan has exhibited at Snape Maltings with local artists, with Contemporary & Country alongside east Anglian artists at Houghton Hall Stables, Norfolk.
