Media Type
natural forms interpreted in many media
I love drawing, watercolour painting, photography, printmaking and many more media. I am fascinated by the relationships between natural forms and the human body.
Biography/Details

I studied Graphic Design at Leeds College of Art specialising in Film and TV design. I made animated films in the days when they were created by images on pieces of paper being moved by hand and filmed frame by frame. I was awarded a Dip AD which i declined to have converted into a degree as it was the last year that Dip AD was awarded.

After doing a post graduate teaching certificate, I spent most of my working life teaching in various schools and  colleges.

On retirement I found that my creativity, that had been absorbed by all my students during my working years, returned.  I have enjoyed becoming an artist again instead of a teacher. I always say that I am a "Jack of all trades and a master of none". I enjoy working in a variety of media. I am specially interested in investigating  the relationships that I see between natural forms and the forms of the human body.
