Biography/Details
My work is very much influenced by the natural world. I use wool, silk and other fibres to create new surfaces. Creating texture and movement across the felted surface with my choice of materials and the addition of machine or hand stitch if it enhances the story.
I take inspiration from the local landscape and the seasonal changes on the flora and fauna surrounding my rural Home. Experimenting with materials and combining techniques and materials to create new fibre and stitch artworks are at the centre of my work.
