My practice explores narratives through making connections. To the past, finding spaces for those lost voices to tell their story. To a place, walking in the footsteps of others, discovering stories that lie in the landscape beneath our feet. Through the process of making, connecting hand, eye and heart.
Inspiration comes from many sources. I am an avid reader. I work with museum collections and with local archives. I spend time in the landscape walking, collecting, writing and making. I make puppets, stitch faces and much more.
I run workshops for small groups from my studio, as well as occasional courses in local museums. I also offer online courses and mentoring. I accept commissions. Please visit my website for more information.
