All of my pieces are hand built using numerous techniques - underglaze, sgraffito, hand piercing, glazing. Hand building- experiencing creativity emerging from the silence.
Biography/Details
I work from a converted windmill in my garden in Peasenhall. I am a committed hand builder and have been using this technique exclusively for around 15 years. My pieces are all unique and are intended to beautify their environment. Working with stoneware clay and using many different techniques, such as sgraffito, underglaze decoration, piercing and a large variety of glazes produces work of diverse character. This is what I love to do, surprise myself every time I open my kiln.
