Biography/Details
Jennifer Phillips is an artist living in rural Suffolk. After studying A-level Art she went on to use her artistic talents throughout her teaching career and as a successful pet portrait artist. Today her textured semi-abstract and abstract paintings in acrylic reflect her surroundings off the Suffolk coast and landscape. In her studio; memories and feelings of living and walking around Suffolk, guide the paint so the painting becomes an extension of her own sensory experience of the landscape: the visual, the feeling and the hearing emerges onto the substrate to create a narrative to draw the viewer in, not just to view the painting but to experience it.
