I'm originally from Essex, but moved to Suffolk at the start of 2023 for a forestry job, before that I spent several years working my way around the UK. I've stopped off in the Wye Valley, New Forest, The Chilterns and the Lake District.
I studied Graphic Design and an Art Foundation at College, I then moved onto Norwich School of Art and started a Fine Art degree but dropped out in the first year. In my spare time I carried on painting, sketching, screen printing and attended the occasional life drawing class, but I never returned to education. In 2018 I left a long-term job and went walking for 4 months, this eventually led me to working seasonally with the YHA, which freed up time for me to really learn how to paint and experiment.. Since that point I feel that I have really found what sparks my passion for painting, I'm inspired by landscapes, the outdoors, impressionism and expressionism. Acrylic paints are my current preferred choice of medium.
