Ceramics decorated with glazes made from local materials and drawings and etchings of trees and the landscape.
Biography/Details
I studied printmaking at the Cambridge School of Art and specialised in etching for my M.A. My work has been exhibited widely, including the Royal Academy, the V&A and the Society of Botanical Artists. Trees and the landscape dominate my work but I have also recently illustrated a book on bumblebees and wild flowers.
I am increasingly spending more time on ceramics. I like to make my own glazes, especially using using local plants, 'ash glazes'. My work is all high fired porcelain or stoneware.
