The gallery in the garden of 1 Hither House
Probably the smallest art gallery in Suffolk!
A gallery full of East Anglian art. This summer hosting a special exhibition to coincide with Suffolk Open Studios.
Biography/Details

Come Hither Gallery is located in the garden of 1 Hither House, Holbrook, Suffolk where local established artists show (and sell) their work, and hand printed greetings cards.

The gallery is probably the smallest in Suffolk. Despite its small size, visitors are often surprised to see just how much work is on display (over 200 works at the last count!).

Come Hither Design is a design agency run by Lisa and Dan Thomas in Holbrook since 2008. After a miserable year during lockdown Lisa felt that creativity and colour should be celebrated and, having many connections with local visual artists, decided to branch out and share her friendships with everyone by opening an art gallery.

Artists include Glynn ThomasKate ReynoldsDale Devereux BarkerSarah Baddon PriceMichael Coulter, and many more. The art includes paintings, original prints (etchings, linocuts, letterpress, screen-prints), enamels, ceramics, and jewellery. The art for sale is all original (no digital reproductions).

The gallery is open by appointment during the week, and to all most weekends. You can check the online diary for dates when open. It is a cash‑less gallery — only accepting payment via chip and PIN, or contactless from card or phone.
