Flamework
Media Type
Sculpting molten glass in the flame.
I sculpt rods of glass in an intense flame to create wearable art, totems, tokens and talismans. Lampwork/Flamework is the tabletop version of glassblowing.
Biography/Details

I've been working in hot glass for two decades, from a background in curating and teaching art, and a BA in Silversmithing & Jewellery. Every glass element large or small is created entirely by me, in the flame. I am inspired by people, places, objects, artefacts and stories. My glass celebrates colour, pattern, light and the beauty of the small.

I am a selected member of the Suffolk Craft Society, an Associate Member of Designer Makers 21 in Diss and am listed in the Crafts Council Directory, I have been with SOS since 2011. Find up to date information on where to find my work on my website, Instagram or Facebook pages. Also find my glass at Walsingham Gallery & Frame in Norfolk, Designer Makers 21 in Diss and Craftco in Southwold.
