Biography/Details
I started my love of working with clay when I joined my dad in his evening classes he attended back in the 80's.
Forty years later I am back in the saddle. I have a small studio at the bottom of my garden and lose myself hand building pieces that seem to choose their own form, style and size. My pieces are very organic and I let the clay direct me, which makes the final pieces both exciting and surprising.
Glazing is such a significant game changer for the personality of a piece that opening the kiln after a firing is one of the most exiting things.
