Ch-alice is a new fine art and artisan craft centre, shop, gallery and holistic centre, that has opened opposite Gainsborough's House at 11 Gainsborough Street, Sudbury.
We are a gallery, shop and community hub supporting local, national and international artists and makers.
Our aim is to provide space and resources that create a flow of opportunities and inspiration for the town and beyond.
Our shop is proud to support environmentally conscious artisans and products, selling crystals, jewellery, beauty and cleaning products, furniture and clothing as well as artworks and objects.
We also have lots of exciting plans in the pipeline, including artist residencies, therapy rooms, makers workshops and a pioneering Freedom Shop, so watch this space!
The chief mission of Ch-alice is to inspire the creation of Sudbury into an official art and craft town, similar to West Kilbride the Art and Craft Town of Scotland.
Ch-alice is a physical portal space for self development and the refinement of artisan craft and specialist skills. There is a growing need to make sure skills are valued, preserved and passed on to those capable of protecting them for further generations. This why we are here.
