Estuary I
Media Type
Paintings and drawings evoking a sense of place
Observational and abstract responses to the landscapes and interiors that are important to me. They are "traces of where I have been".
Biography/Details

My work is mainly concerned with shape, scale, gesture and colour. I draw and paint from observation and use these to represent abstract themes, using waterbased media.

I have a BA (Hons) Degree in Graphic Design from Northumbria University, Newcastle and worked on community arts projects in the north east before moving to Suffolk. I started exhibiting in 2015 and since then I have been selected for exhibitions in Norfolk, Suffolk and Cambridgeshire. In 2017 I won the Cambridge News Award for an Outstanding Contemporary Watercolour. I am a member of the Society of East Anglian Watercolourists and Echo Arts. In 2022 I won the SEAW Royal Watercolour Society Award.
