Art to make you smile and brighten up your home

I just love playing with paint, thinking about the colours I see outside, and how being in nature makes me feel.

I don't plan much. I create intuitively, from my imagination, until the painting chooses to reveal itself. This process leads to the build up of many layers. A process resulting in a beautifully textured surface full of past ideas, scratches, scrapes, washes, marks and colour.

This way of painting makes me really happy. It's a free-flowing process where the painting decides what it wants to be. It's my way of capturing the joy and spontaneity that comes from being creative in the moment.

I paint wild, tangled imagined landscapes alongside quieter, more whimsical, imagined still life’s. I hope they bring you joy, smiles and fill you up with happiness too.
