Potter and ceramic artist. Individual hand built pieces, small sculptures and some work for outdoors.
Biography/Details
Current work explores hand built forms in various clays. Some pieces are low fired and then placed in a smoke kiln, others high fired and glazed. Work covers a variety of styles. There are basic pinch pots, small sculptural work with garden birds suitable for outdoors, ceramic holders inspired by endangered species for the domestic setting (eg tiger bowl candle holders). Some thrown domestic ware, mugs, jugs and bowls in simple pale stoneware glazes.
