Biography/Details
Fine Art Graduate, who went on to get a “proper job” and raise a family, now returned to tools following medical retirement, to attempt a re-emergence.
Work centred on emotional communication, to transport the observer into a previous time, place or feeling from memories, from trauma but also allowing space for the observer or collector to make their own connections and create their own story for each piece.
Utilising acrylic, oil and ink on canvas or board, AJ is focused on immersion, often using texture and light to convey a sensory response.
