My artwork is focused on recording nature in minute detail. Much of my previous work has been undertaken at The Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew where I have had access to the specimens stored at the Herbarium.
My recent work has focused on recording live plant material and insects in interesting compositions. My artwork is included in many private and public collections including the Library & Archives at RBG Kew, The Shirley Sherwood Collection and the Hunt Institute Carnegie Mellon University Pittsburgh USA.
I have had two solo shows in London and one of my paintings in the RBG Kew Library & Archives collection was selected to be in the ‘Watercolour’ exhibition (2011) at Tate Britain.
Commercially my paintings have been used by Liberty of London to produce several fabric designs one of which was used by Dame Vivienne Westwood in one of her collections.
