Spotlight on Lindsay Rae-Rollett

Lindsay Rae Rollett’s greatest joy is to share her passion for Art and to help release creativity and appreciation in others. So it’s not surprising that one of the things Lindsay does is teach! At Lindsay’s mosaic class, held on Mondays, each member of the class was asked to make a circle that Lindsay incorporated into this collaborative piece, entitled “Eccentric circles”. Participants in Lindsay’s class have fun chatting, drinking coffee and being creative.

Lindsay graduated from Farnham Art School and Bristol University and now lives and works in Suffolk. Here she is a practicing Artist and Maker and runs small and friendly Art and Mosaic groups from her studio. She works with adults and children over 8, welcomes commissions, does demonstrations and runs “Arty parties” as well as taster sessions in various locations.

You can see Lindsay’s mosaics at Gymaphobics, St John’s Street Bury St Edmunds throughout the month of May.

Lindsay is also a painter/printmaker and Ottewell Art/Denny Bros. in Bury St Edmunds, will be showcasing some of Lindsay’s 2D work in May for “Art About Town”.

Future exhibitions include:

- Tuddenham Church, for St Nicholas Hospice, May 8th-10th

- The Upstairs Gallery Beccles May 18th - 29th

- “My Blue Heart”, for CLIC Sargeant, at the Apex Bury St Edmunds September 6th - 25th.

Lindsay will have her studio open on the 13th, 14th, 27th and 28th of June and is part of the East of Bury St Edmunds Artists' Trail.
