Rebecca Mansbridge - Glass artist

Rebecca Mansbridge’s contemporary fused glass draws inspiration from nature.  She creates pictures with depth and movement that capture a moment in time or a feeling in glass.

Rebecca fell in love with glass when she took a workshop  in copper foil glass.  Since then she has been exploring its properties.

In 2009 Rebecca began selling her glass and has an online gallery where you can see examples of her work:

If you want to see Rebecca’s glass in person you can visit The Naze Tower art gallery Walton-on-the-Naze from now through the 14th of June.  While there be sure to visit the Naze platform where you can climb to the top of the 111 step spiral staircase to see the 360° coastal views from the viewing platform. On a clear day I’m told you may be able to see Orford Ness lighthouse or even the coast of Kent.  You can also enjoy a lovely walk to the town.

Rebecca Mansbridge’s studio will be open on the 20th and the 21st of June.  She will part of the Artist’s Around Sudbury Trail.
